7- Day Itinerary
A Journey Shaped by Nature
This itinerary is flexible and may change depending on weather, wind and sea conditions to ensure the safest and best possible experience for guests.
No two expeditions are ever exactly the same — and that’s part of the magic.
Day 1
Brønnøysund to Vega
Your adventure begins in either the historic city of Trondheim or the charming coastal town of Brønnøysund, whichever location suits you best to meet us. Once onboard, we get settled into the yacht and go through a relaxed expedition and safety briefing before setting sail northward.
Our first destination is the beautiful island of Vega — part of a UNESCO World Heritage landscape shaped by generations of coastal living. Guests will have the option to visit the famous Vega World Heritage Centre and learn about the region’s unique relationship between people, sea, and nature.
We spend our first evening enjoying good food, stunning scenery, and settling into life onboard.

Day 2
Vega to Lovund
Today we navigate through a maze of islands, reefs, and mountains as we continue north toward Lovund.
This stretch offers some of the most breathtaking scenery on the Norwegian coast. Keep watch for sea eagles, porpoises, seals, and maybe even whales along the way.
Once ashore at Lovund, guests can join an optional hike famous for its puffin colonies and dramatic ocean views. During the summer season, thousands of puffins return here to nest — an unforgettable wildlife experience.
Day 3
Lovund to Træna
We continue onward to the spectacular island community of Træna — one of Norway’s oldest fishing communities located far out in the Norwegian Sea.
After arriving, we’ll relax with a traditional sauna experience before heading out for dinner at a local restaurant serving fresh Norwegian coastal cuisine. Expect locally sourced seafood, warm hospitality, and an unforgettable atmosphere surrounded by towering granite peaks rising from the sea.
Day 4
Exploring Træna & Hidden Anchorages
Day 4 is all about exploration.
We’ll sail around the islands of Træna searching for secluded anchorages and quiet bays only accessible by boat. After dropping anchor, we’ll head ashore for a hike to one of the island summits where sweeping panoramic views reveal the endless maze of islands that make the Helgeland coast so legendary.
Back onboard, we’ll enjoy dinner at anchor beneath the midnight sun — a truly magical Arctic sailing experience.
Day 5
Arctic Circle Crossing to Myken
On day 5 we cross the Arctic Circle by sail — a milestone worth celebrating.
Continuing north through remote islands and open passages, we arrive at Myken, home to the famous Myken Distillery — the world’s northernmost whisky distillery.
Guests will enjoy a guided tour of the distillery, hear the fascinating story behind whisky production in the Arctic, and sample some exceptional Norwegian whisky crafted using local conditions and pure Arctic water.
Day 6
Myken to Bolga
A shorter sail on day 6 brings us to the striking island of Bolga.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy. Swim in crystal-clear Arctic waters, try fishing from the boat, explore the shoreline, or hike up Bolgtinden for incredible views across the coast beneath the glowing midnight sun.
Back onboard, we’ll enjoy a relaxed evening together with good food, drinks, and stories from the journey.
Day 7
Bolga to Bodø
Our final day begins early as we set sail toward Bodø.
With favourable winds, we’ll enjoy a rewarding final stretch through the northern Norwegian coast before arriving in Bodø. Once ashore, we gather one final time for a crew debrief, shared meal, and drinks — reflecting on the adventure, friendships, and memories created along the way.
Guests disembark in Bodø at the end of the expedition.
